Being able to harness and control the constantly active mind is the goal of yoga.
Focusing on a single object can focus and calm the mind. Creating a focus with an object refers to what we call Dristi in yoga. Dristi, or the gaze is a tool we use to settle the nervous system and find calm within.
Do this exercise on your own or in groups.
